34 (June) B. Pharmacy CBCS Scheme w.e.f 2017-18 – 2nd Sem (Regular) 19.06.2026 As per schedule of RR & CR to be notified by R&S Branch

The May 2026 examination window is by far the largest in this notification, covering virtually every major program offered by MDU. For the majority of UG and PG programs, the last date to submit the exam form without a late fee is 20th March 2026, with a first late fee window (₹970/-) closing on 27th March 2026, and a second late fee window (₹1,940/-) closing on 21st April 2026. Students who have re-appear papers should note these deadlines carefully — submitting even one day late means paying the higher late fee tier. The smartest approach is always to submit well before the no-late-fee deadline.

ODL (Open & Distance Learning) and Online Mode program students under MDU have a separate set of deadlines — both the no-late-fee deadline (10th April 2026) and late fee windows differ from the mainstream semester scheme. Distance education students often work and study simultaneously, which makes them particularly prone to missing deadlines. Mark these dates in your calendar well in advance. Note that for programs under Sr. Nos. 9, 10, 11, and 12, exam form submission schedules are governed by the Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE) and will be notified separately.

Exam Schedule – June & July 2026

37 B.Ed (Special Education) NEP Scheme – 2nd Sem Fresh 23.07.2026 As per schedule of RR & CR notified by R&S Branch

The July 2026 window is reserved primarily for B.Ed and M.Ed programs. B.Ed candidates (both regular and re-appear) should note that their exam form submission deadline without late fee is 27th May 2026. The M.Ed 2nd Semester exams commence later on 11th July 2026, giving those students a slightly longer window, with the no-late-fee deadline on the same 27th May 2026 date. B.Ed is among the most critical professional degrees in the education sector; students should not let administrative lapses like missed form submission dates jeopardise their academic progression.

Exam Form Late Fee Structure – MDU 2026

Fee Category Amount Applicable Window
No Late Fee Standard exam form fee only Submit before the “Without Late Fee” deadline listed for each program
Late Fee – First Slab ₹970/- After the no-late-fee deadline, up to the first late fee deadline
Late Fee – Second Slab ₹1,940/- After the first late fee deadline, up to the second late fee deadline

MDU’s late fee structure is tiered — the longer you delay, the more you pay. Submitting on time costs you nothing extra; missing the first window costs you ₹970/- on top of the regular form fee; missing the second window costs you ₹1,940/- additionally. For students who are already under financial pressure due to re-appear fees, paying an avoidable late fee is an unnecessary burden. One important relief provision in the notification: if a student missed the deadline due to late admission or late result declaration — through no fault of their own — no late fee will be charged within 15 days of the result declaration date. After that grace period, the standard late fee schedule applies.

Expert Tips for MDU Re-appear & Regular Students – 2026 Exams

Submit Your Exam Form in the First Week – No Exceptions

The no-late-fee deadline for most May 2026 programs is 20th March 2026. Submitting in the first week of March eliminates any last-minute portal congestion risk and gives you time to verify that your form was correctly received. University portals often experience slowdowns as deadlines approach. Students who wait until the last day frequently face payment gateway errors or session timeouts, and by the time these are resolved, the deadline may have passed, forcing them into the late fee window.

Verify Your Re-appear Subjects Carefully Before Submitting

One of the most common and costly mistakes in MDU re-appear form submissions is either missing a subject that needed to be cleared or selecting a subject by mistake. Before submitting, cross-check every subject code and name in your form against your official marksheet or backlog list provided by your college. An incorrectly filled form cannot be corrected after submission, and appearing for the wrong subject will waste your attempt and your fee.

Know Which Schedule Governs Your Program

MDU’s examination schedule is divided across multiple sections — regular semester scheme, ODL (distance education), online mode, CDOE-governed programs, and R&S Branch-governed schedules. A common mistake is assuming the deadline in one section applies to your program. Identify your program type clearly (e.g., regular affiliated college, ODL July enrolled, ODL January enrolled, online mode) and apply the correct deadline row from the official schedule.

Keep Your Login Credentials and Fee Payment Receipt Safe

Students often forget their university portal login details, particularly if they haven’t logged in since the last semester. Retrieve or reset your credentials well before the deadline so you are not scrambling on the last day. After submitting the form, save both a digital copy and a printed copy of the payment receipt — this document is your proof of form submission and is essential for resolving any future disputes.

Prepare a Study Plan Starting from the Form Submission Date

The gap between the form submission deadline (mid-March to mid-April) and the exam commencement date (May 2026) is typically four to six weeks. This is a meaningful preparation window if used well. Divide your subjects into high-weightage and low-weightage topics based on previous question papers, prioritise clearing conceptual doubts early, and leave the last two weeks for revision and practice tests. Don’t let the process of form submission lull you into delaying your preparation.

Monitor the MDU Website and College Notice Boards Regularly

Detailed exam timetables (date sheets), admit card release notifications, centre allotments, and any revision in the schedule are published on the official MDU website. Do not rely solely on word-of-mouth from classmates — always verify directly from the official source. Similarly, for programs where the schedule is to be notified by the CDOE or R&S Branch, bookmark those pages and check them at least twice a week from now onwards.
