➤ Calculation basis: 7th Pay Commission – DA @46% (current rate), HRA @24% (Ranchi Class‑X city), TA approx ₹1,200, NPS deduction 10% of basic. Example for Level 7: Basic ₹44,900 + DA 20,654 + HRA 10,776 = ₹76,330 gross; deduct NPS ₹4,490 + CGHS ₹250 + professional tax ₹200 = ₹52,200 in‑hand. This is an estimate; actual may vary slightly with government updates.

🔹 Main Exam (3 papers)

• Paper 1 (Language Knowledge – Hindi+English) : 120 questions, qualifying (30% mandatory).
• Paper 2 (Tribal/Regional Language) : 100 questions – 30% minimum. Options: Santhali, Odia, Kurukh, Nagpuri, Bangla, Ho, etc.
• Paper 3 (Technical Subject + General Awareness) : 150 questions in 2.5 hours – this paper decides the final merit list.

❓ What is the approximate in‑hand salary of JSSC JTGLCCE 2026 posts?

Pay Level 7: ₹49,800–53,200; Level 6: ₹39,200–41,000; Level 5: ₹32,500–35,000 after standard deductions (NPS, CGHS, tax). This is based on 7th CPC with DA 46% and HRA 24%.

❓ What is the last date to apply? Can I edit my form later?

Last date is 30 June 2026 (midnight). Correction window opens from 05 to 10 July 2026, but name, date of birth, email, and mobile cannot be changed.

❓ Can final year students apply?

No. The required bachelor’s degree must be obtained on or before 30 June 2026. Final year students are not eligible.

❓ What is the age relaxation for OBC / SC / ST?

OBC (Backward Class) gets 3 years, SC/ST gets 5 years, PwD gets 10 years. Women in reserved categories also get additional 3–5 years depending on the category.

❓ Is the preliminary exam compulsory?

No. If total applications are less than 50,000, JSSC may directly conduct the Main exam. The decision will be notified on the website.

❓ Is there negative marking?

Yes, in both Prelims and Mains. Each correct answer gives +3 marks, each wrong answer deducts 1 mark.

❓ Can non‑Jharkhand residents apply?
