The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has confirmed approximately 2,500 permanent Nursing Officer posts through the Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET) 11. This is a mega recruitment drive for Nursing Officer positions at Level 07 in the Pay Matrix (pre-revised Pay Band-2 of ₹9,300-₹34,800 with Grade Pay ₹4,600) under Group-B category. The recruitment is for AIIMS New Delhi, AIIMS CAPFIMS, and other participating AIIMS institutes across India. Online applications will be accepted from July 24, 2026, to August 13, 2026, up to 5:00 PM. The two-stage Computer Based Test (CBT) will be held on September 12, 2026 (Preliminary) and September 30, 2026 (Mains). • B.Sc Nursing: No experience required. Fresh graduates are eligible.
• GNM: 2 years of experience is mandatory. The experience must be acquired after obtaining the essential qualification, completing the residency period, declaration of result, and registration with the Nursing Council.
• 50 Bedded Hospital: The experience must be in a minimum 50 bedded hospital.
• Registration: Must be registered as Nurse & Midwife with State/Indian Nursing Council. Registration is mandatory for all candidates.
• Recognition: Qualification must be from an Indian Nursing Council/State Nursing Council recognized Institute/Board/Council.
