Within this merit system, AOCP trade candidates are given 1st priority, feeder trade candidates with prior DBW experience and 3-month MIL training certificate get 2nd priority, and feeder trade candidates without the training certificate get 3rd priority.
- 6. What is the salary for OFK DBW Recruitment 2026?
- The basic remuneration is Rs. 19,900 per month plus Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and other applicable allowances. An annual increment of 3% on basic pay is provided subject to satisfactory performance. Additional benefits include EPF, Risk Allowance, Night Duty Allowance, and Bonus as applicable.
- 7. How do I apply for this recruitment? Is there an online option?
- No online application is available. Applications must be submitted offline by post only. Download the official application form, fill it in block letters, attach all required documents and photographs, superscribe the envelope as “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF TENURE BASED DBW PERSONNEL ON CONTRACT BASIS,” and send it by post to the Chief General Manager, Ordnance Factory Khamaria, Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh – 482005.
- 8. Can PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disability) candidates apply?
- No. The official notification explicitly states that this post has NOT been identified as suitable for PwBD candidates. Persons with benchmark disability are therefore not eligible to apply for this recruitment.
- 9. What is the duration of the tenure engagement?
- The initial engagement period is One Year, which may be extended up to a maximum of Four Years (including the initial period) based on factory requirement and individual performance. Tenure-based engagement does not confer any right to regular employment status with OFK or Munitions India Limited.
- 10. Will I be given training after selection?
- Yes. AOCP candidates not from Ordnance Factory apprenticeships must complete a compulsory 1-month intensive in-house training on safe handling of explosives, safety norms, etc. before deployment. Feeder trade candidates must complete the same 1-month in-house training plus an additional 2-month On-Job Training before they are deployed. Training is mandatory and successful completion is required for job assignment.
- 11. How will I receive the Trade Test call letter?
- Call letters for the Trade Test/Practical Test will be sent to shortlisted candidates by email only. No paper call letters will be sent by post. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted — mere submission of the application does not guarantee a Trade Test call. Keep your registered email ID active throughout the recruitment process.
- 12. What is the tie-breaking rule if two candidates have equal merit scores?
- Ties are resolved in the following order of preference: (1) Ex-Trade Apprentice of AOCP Trade gets preference; (2) Ex-Trade Apprentice of Ordnance Factories gets next preference; (3) Higher marks in NAC issued by NCVT; and (4) Older candidate (by Date of Birth) is preferred if all above factors are equal.
