Yes. Candidates in the final year of B.Ed or D.El.Ed (BTC) may apply provisionally. However, their UPTET certificate will only become valid after they successfully pass their qualifying examination. They will be admitted to the exam on a provisional basis.

Q11. What is OTR registration in UPTET 2026?

OTR stands for One Time Registration. It is a mandatory first step on the UPESSC portal before any application can be submitted. All candidates — including those who have previously applied for UPTET — must complete OTR on upessc.up.gov.in. Only after OTR completion can you proceed to fill the exam application form.

Q12. Where will the UPTET 2026 admit card be available?

Admit cards will be issued through the official UPESSC website (upessc.up.gov.in) on 30 June 2026. Candidates will be informed about their exam district on 22 June 2026. UPESSC does not send individual admit cards by post — candidates must download and print them from the portal themselves.
