Reservation Details

For ITI Trade Apprentices:

NLC India Apprentice 2026 – Selection Process

Selection Method: Based on percentage/total marks scored by candidates in the concerned qualifying examination.

  • ITI Trade Apprentices: Percentage of marks in all subjects in ITI (NCVT) examination
  • Diploma Apprentices: Percentage of marks in Diploma of relevant discipline
  • Graduate (Engineering) Apprentices: Percentage of marks in BE/B.Tech of relevant discipline
  • Graduate (Non-Engineering) Apprentices: Percentage of marks in B.Com/BBA Degree

CGPA Conversion: If grades/CGPA are awarded, percentage marks will be based on the procedure followed by the University/Institution. In the absence of any established scheme:

  • Multiply Grade/CGPA by factor of 10
  • For semester-wise marks: Average of percentage of marks from II year to final year
  • For year-wise marks: Average of percentage of marks in all years

Selection Rule: In case of more than one candidate scoring the same percentage at cut-off level, the senior-most candidate will be considered based on Date of Birth.
