Detailed Eligibility Criteria for ISRO Recruitment 2026
For Assistant / UDC (Post No. 1, 3 & 5)

- Proficiency in the use of Computers is mandatory.
For JPA / Stenographer (Post No. 2, 4 & 6)
- Option 1: Graduation with minimum 60% marks (or 6.32 CGPA) + One year experience as Steno-Typist/Stenographer.
- Option 2: Diploma in Commercial/Secretarial Practice with minimum 60% marks (or 6.32 CGPA) + One year experience as Steno-Typist/Stenographer.
- Note: Apprenticeship Training Certificate issued by BOAT under National Apprenticeship Training Scheme is considered equivalent to one year experience.
- Minimum speed: 60 w.p.m. in English Stenography.
- Proficiency in the use of Computers is mandatory.
CGPA/Percentage Rules:
- If University mentions both CGPA and percentage, at least one criteria should meet ISRO’s eligibility norms.
- If University mentions only CGPA, the CGPA mentioned should necessarily meet ISRO’s eligibility criteria.
- Conversion of CGPA into percentage is NOT permitted for determining eligibility, regardless of any conversion formula prescribed by the University.

For Assistant / UDC (Post No. 1, 3 & 5) – Computer Literacy Test

4. Final Selection
Final selection will be based on marks scored in the Written Test from among the candidates who qualify in the Skill Test.
