Category-Wise Vacancy Analysis:

Health Supervisor has the highest number of vacancies at 137, making up approximately 42% of the total posts. Multipurpose Health Worker follows with 62 posts, and Fisheries Technical Assistant with 41 posts. Selection Process

The selection for JILCCE 2026 will be conducted in two stages:

Stage 1: Preliminary Examination

The Preliminary Examination will be conducted only if the number of applications exceeds 50,000. If applications are below 50,000, the Commission may conduct the Main Examination directly. The Preliminary Exam consists of 120 objective-type questions (3 marks each) with negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer. Duration: 2 hours.

• Extremely Backward Class (Anu-1): 34%
• Backward Class (Anu-2): 36.5%

Stage 2: Main Examination

15 times the number of vacancies in each category will be called for the Main Examination. The Main Exam has three papers (2 hours each, 3 marks per question, 1 mark negative for wrong answers).
