Selection Process

The selection process for MP High Court Assistant Grade 3 Recruitment consists of two stages:

Stage 1: Online Preliminary Examination (100 Marks)

The preliminary exam is a screening test. It consists of 100 objective-type multiple-choice questions (1 mark each) with a duration of 120 minutes. The marks obtained in this stage are NOT counted for the final merit list. This stage is only for shortlisting candidates for the typing test.

Shortlisting Ratio: Approximately 1:5 (5 candidates per vacancy, including all candidates with the cut-off marks).

Stage 2: Hindi Typing Skill Test (50 Marks)

Candidates shortlisted in the preliminary exam will be called for the Hindi typing skill test. The test will be conducted in Remington Gail (Unrestricted Mode). Typing evaluation is based on Net Words Per Minute (NWPM) and Accuracy.

Minimum Qualifying Marks:

  • General / OBC: 55%
  • SC: 45%
  • ST / PwBD: 40%
  • EWS: 49.5%

Typing Test Evaluation:

  • 0.50 marks deducted for each omitted word or error
  • 0.10 marks deducted for each backspace
  • Final marks calculated based on NWPM and accuracy

Final Merit List: Prepared based solely on Hindi typing skill test marks. In case of tie, older candidate gets preference.

Service Bond

Selected candidates must execute a service bond of ₹2,00,000 and undertake to serve for a minimum period of 3 years from the date of joining. If the candidate resigns or leaves the service before completing 3 years (or violates any bond condition), the bond amount becomes payable.

Exception: If the candidate leaves with prior permission to join MP Government or Central Government service, the bond amount is not payable.
