However, a nominal Vidyalaya Vikas Nidhi (VVN) fee is collected from Classes IX-XII students (₹600/month). Students of SC/ST, Divyang, all Girls, and BPL families are exempted. For wards of Government employees (other than exempted categories), VVN is charged @₹1500/month or actual Children Education Allowance, whichever is less.

JNVST 2027 Written Test
The selection test is a single paper of 2 hours duration (11:30 AM to 01:30 PM) with objective-type questions. Divyang students get 40 minutes extra.
- Sections: Mental Ability & EVS (20+20 questions for 50 marks), Arithmetic (20 questions for 25 marks), Language (20 questions for 25 marks).
- Total: 80 questions for 100 marks.
