⚡ Quick Result Check – Did You Qualify for PE&MT?

✅ You have been shortlisted for PE&MT if:

  • Your category (UR/EWS) score is ≥ 40% aggregate in CBE (normalized) AND you are within top 20x vacancies (approx top 7,020 for UR+EWS).
  • Your category (SC/ST/OBC) score is ≥ 35% aggregate AND you are within top 20x respective category vacancies.
  • Your category (ESM) score is ≥ 30% aggregate AND you are within top 20x ESM vacancies (approx top 1,460 ESM candidates).
  • Your roll number appears in the PE&MT shortlist PDF uploaded by SSC/Delhi Police.
❌ You have NOT qualified if:

  • Your normalized score is below the category cut-off (40%/35%/30%).
  • Your score meets cut-off but you are beyond the 20x merit limit (ranked lower than 20x vacancies in your category).
  • Your application was rejected due to photo/signature or eligibility issues.

Expert note: Even if you scored above cut-off marks, only top 20x candidates per category are called for PE&MT. For example, if UR vacancies are 351, only top 7,020 UR candidates (20×351) are shortlisted – all others above 40% but below rank 7,020 will NOT be called. This is the most common reason for non-shortlisting despite scoring above cut-off.

CRPF Constable Tradesman Recruitment 2026 – 9,195 Vacancies for 17 Trades (Male & Female)

📊 SSC Constable Driver Result 2025 – Category-Wise Cut-Off Marks (Normalized) & 20x Shortlist Calculation

Category Minimum Qualifying % (CBE Aggregate) Shortlist Ratio Vacancies (Approx) 20x Shortlist Count
UR (Unreserved) 40% 20x vacancies 351 7,020
EWS 40% 20x vacancies 73 1,460
OBC-NCL 35% 20x vacancies 170 3,400
SC 35% 20x vacancies 96 1,920
ST 35% 20x vacancies 48 960
Ex-Servicemen (ESM) 30% 20x vacancies 73 1,460
Total 756+ ~15,120+

🔍 Category-wise cut-off insight (100+ words analysis): The UR/EWS cut-off of 40% is the highest among all categories, but the real competition is within the 20x shortlisting. For UR, with 351 vacancies, only the top 7,020 candidates out of lakhs of applicants are called – meaning a score of 40% is meaningless if you rank below 7,020. OBC candidates have a significant advantage with 35% cut-off and 3,400 shortlist slots. SC (1,920 slots) and ST (960 slots) have even lower competition within their categories. Ex-Servicemen have the lowest cut-off (30%) but also the smallest shortlist pool (1,460 slots). Key insight: Candidates who scored 45-50% in UR but ranked 8,000 will NOT be shortlisted, while an SC candidate with 36% and rank 1,500 WILL be shortlisted. Always check your normalized score along with category rank, not just percentage.

📌 How to Download SSC Constable Driver Result 2025 & Check PE&MT Shortlist

  1. Visit official SSC website: https://ssc.gov.in.
  2. Click on ‘Results’ tab on the homepage.
  3. Look for ‘Constable (Driver)-Male in Delhi Police Examination, 2025 – CBE Result & PE&MT Shortlist’.
  4. Click on the PDF link – a category-wise shortlist PDF will open (multiple PDFs for UR, OBC, SC, ST, EWS, ESM).
  5. Press Ctrl+F and search your roll number / registration number.
  6. If your number appears, you are shortlisted for PE&MT.
  7. Also check your individual scorecard (login to SSC candidate portal → ‘Result/Scorecard’ section).
  8. Download and save the shortlist PDF and your scorecard for future reference.
  9. Within 2-3 days, Delhi Police will upload PE&MT Admit Card on https://delhipolice.gov.in.
  10. Print at least 4 copies of PE&MT admit card and carry 2 passport-size photographs (same as CBE application).
📄 Documents to Carry for PE&MT (VERY IMPORTANT)
  • ✔ PE&MT Admit Card (downloaded from Delhi Police website – NOT from SSC)
  • ✔ CBE result/scorecard printout (showing qualifying status)
  • ✔ Original valid HMV/HTV driving license (the SAME license used in application)
  • ✔ 10+2 (Senior Secondary) original mark sheet and certificate
  • ✔ Matriculation (10th) certificate for date of birth proof
  • ✔ Category certificate (SC/ST/OBC-NCL Central List/EWS) – OBC MUST be central list
  • ✔ Hill area certificate (Annexure-XII) if claiming height relaxation – signed by DC/DM/Tehsildar
  • ✔ Wards certificate (Annexure-XIII) if son of Delhi Police personnel
  • ✔ Ex-Servicemen: Discharge certificate + Undertaking (Annexure-IV)
  • ✔ NCC/RRU certificate for bonus marks claimants (original)
  • ✔ 2 recent passport size colour photographs (same as CBE application)
  • ✔ Original valid photo ID (Aadhaar, Voter ID, Passport, Driving License)

⚠️ Critical Warning – Document Verification Failure: Delhi Police will verify original documents AT THE TIME OF PE&MT. If any document is missing, expired, or does not match your application (e.g., OBC certificate from state list instead of central list, mismatched name/DoB), your candidature will be cancelled immediately – no second chance. Learner’s license or expired HMV license = immediate disqualification.

📊 Normalized Score vs Raw Score – Why Your Percentage May Differ

SSC conducted the CBE in multiple shifts with different question papers. To ensure fairness across shifts, raw marks are converted to normalized scores (percentile-based) using SSC’s normalization formula. This means:

  • If you were in a tougher shift, your normalized score may be HIGHER than your raw score.
  • If you were in an easier shift, your normalized score may be LOWER than your raw score.
  • The cut-off marks (40%/35%/30%) refer to normalized scores, NOT raw marks.
Scenario Raw Score (out of 100) Normalized Score Qualifying Status (UR cut-off 40%)
Tougher shift candidate 38 raw marks 42 normalized ✅ QUALIFIED
Easier shift candidate 42 raw marks 38 normalized ❌ NOT QUALIFIED

Check your scorecard: Login to SSC portal → ‘View Scorecard’ – it will show BOTH raw marks and normalized marks. The normalized marks are used for cut-off determination.

🏃 PE&MT Schedule & Physical Standards – Qualifying Only, No Merit

📅 PE&MT Tentative Schedule: To be announced by Delhi Police on https://delhipolice.gov.in. Admit cards will be released 10-15 days before the test date. PE&MT will be conducted ONLY in Delhi at multiple venues.

Physical Endurance Test (Age-wise)

Event Upto 30 years 30-40 years Above 40 years

Physical Measurement Standards

Parameter Minimum Required Relaxation
Height 170 cm 165 cm (hill areas, ST, wards of Delhi Police personnel)
Chest 81-85 cm (4 cm expansion) 5 cm relaxation for above categories
⚠️ Important PE&MT Rules:

  • Race is conducted first – only those who qualify the race proceed to Long Jump and High Jump.
  • Long Jump and High Jump allow 3 chances each – clear any one chance to qualify.
  • There is NO appeal against disqualification in Race, Long Jump, or High Jump.
  • For Physical Measurement (height/chest), an Appellate Authority is available at the centre on the same day – appeal must be filed immediately.
  • Candidates found with head swelling, tamarind on head, or under influence of energetic medicines will be debarred permanently.

🚛 Trade Test (Qualifying – 150 Marks) & Medical Examination

Trade Test will be conducted by Delhi Police after PE&MT qualification. It contains 4 parts, each with minimum qualifying marks. Trade Test marks do NOT affect final merit – only CBE marks determine final selection.

Test Component Total Marks Qualifying Marks
LMV Driving (Forward + Reverse + Parking) 50 25 (50% in each sub-test)
HMV Driving (Forward + Reverse + Parking) 50 25 (50% in each sub-test)
Traffic Signs, Road Sense, Route Reading 25 12.5
Vehicle Maintenance Knowledge 25 12.5

Medical Examination (Final Stage)

  • Conducted in selected Government hospitals in Delhi as per Delhi Police Rules 1980.
  • Vision: Better eye 6/6, worse eye 6/12 WITHOUT glasses. NO relaxation. Free from color blindness.
  • Generally free from any disease, deformity, or defect.
  • Only candidates who clear Medical Examination will be issued final appointment letter.

🏆 Final Selection & Merit List – How Candidates Are Selected

Final selection is based SOLELY on CBE normalized scores (PE&MT, Trade Test, Medical are qualifying only). The process:

  1. Step 1: All candidates who qualify PE&MT, Trade Test, and Document Verification are considered.
  2. Step 2: A provisional merit list is prepared category-wise (UR, OBC, SC, ST, EWS, ESM) based on CBE normalized scores (higher score = better rank).
  3. Step 3: Top candidates equal to the number of vacancies (category-wise) are provisionally selected.
  4. Step 4: A Reserve Panel of 15% additional candidates is also created (operated by Delhi Police if selected candidates do not join).
  5. Step 5: Selected candidates undergo Medical Examination – if declared fit, appointment letter is issued.

Tie-breaking rule: If two candidates have same CBE normalized score, older candidate (higher age) gets preference. If age also same, alphabetical order of first name decides.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions – SSC Constable Driver Result 2025 & PE&MT

I scored above 40% in UR category but my roll number is NOT in shortlist – why?
SSC shortlists only 20x vacancies (approx top 7,020 UR candidates), NOT everyone above 40%. If you scored 40% but ranked 8,000 among UR candidates, you will NOT be called for PE&MT. Check your normalized score and category rank on your scorecard.
How do I download my individual scorecard?
Login to https://ssc.gov.in with your registration number and password. Go to ‘Result/Scorecard’ section under ‘Constable Driver 2025’. Your scorecard will show raw marks, normalized marks, category rank, and qualifying status.
When will PE&MT admit cards be released?
Delhi Police will upload PE&MT admit cards on https://delhipolice.gov.in approximately 10-15 days before the test date. Keep checking the ‘Recruitment’ section. No admit card will be sent by post or email.
Can I request re-evaluation of my CBE marks?
No. SSC has no provision for re-evaluation or re-checking of CBE scores. The Final Answer Key was published and challenges were accepted before result declaration. No correspondence for re-checking will be entertained.
I am a departmental candidate of Delhi Police – do I still need to appear for PE&MT?
Yes. All shortlisted candidates, including departmental candidates, must clear PE&MT, Trade Test, and Medical Examination. Departmental candidates only get age relaxation (up to 40/43/45 years) – no exemption from physical tests.
What happens if I fail the Medical Examination?
Medical Examination is final and binding. There is no appeal process. If declared medically unfit, your candidature will be cancelled, and the next candidate from the merit list or reserve panel may be considered by Delhi Police.
Can I change my PE&MT centre or date?
No. PE&MT is conducted only in Delhi at designated centres. No requests for change of centre, date, or shift will be entertained under any circumstances. If you miss your scheduled PE&MT, no re-test will be held.
Is there any court case or RTI that can change the result?
Court cases relating to CBE result, shortlisting, and final merit are handled by SSC (for candidates outside Delhi) and Delhi Police (for Delhi candidates). However, result changes due to court cases are extremely rare and take months. RTI applications for answer keys or normalized score formulas can be filed but will not change your individual result.
