Reservation Details

Horizontal Reservation (3% each):

  • Persons with Disability (PwD): 3% of vacancies horizontally reserved for otherwise eligible candidates meeting fitness relaxation criteria in Rule 4 of Apprenticeship Rules, 1992.

Selection Process

Stage 1: Preliminary Merit List

Preliminary selection is based on a Merit List drawn trade-wise and category-wise on the basis of aggregate percentage of marks obtained in ITI trade and Class 10. Candidates in the preliminary merit list will be called for interview.

Stage 2: Interview (50 Marks)

Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview at Apprentice Training School, Naval Ship Repair Yard, Sri Vijaya Puram. The interview carries 50 marks and tests technical skills in the respective trade. Call letters will be issued via registered email.

Stage 3: Document Verification

Candidates must produce original documents before registration for verification including SSC/Matriculation Marks Certificate, ITI Certificate, Aadhaar Card, Caste Certificate (if applicable), PwD Certificate (if applicable), and Ex-Servicemen/Armed Forces Personnel Certificate (if applicable).
