Educational Qualification

• Academic: 10th pass with Science and Mathematics under 10+2 system from a recognized School or Board.
• Punjabi Language: Passed Matriculation with Punjabi as one of the compulsory or elective subjects (as per Punjab Civil Services Rules, 1994).

Technical Qualification – Degree/Diploma Category

• Bachelor of Vocational/Degree in relevant engineering discipline from AICTE/UGC recognized institution, OR
• 03 years Diploma in relevant engineering discipline from AICTE/recognized Board of Technical Education.
• Experience: 1 year for Degree holders / 2 years for Diploma holders in an organization registered under the Factories Act, 1948 or teaching experience in a Government institution.
• NCIC Requirement: Must acquire National Craft Instructor Certificate in the relevant trade within 3 years of appointment.

Technical Qualification – NTC/NAC Category

• National Trade Certificate (NTC) or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) in the relevant trade from a recognized Institution.
• National Craft Instructor Certificate (NCIC) in the relevant trade.
• Experience: 3 years’ relevant experience in an organization registered under the Factories Act, 1948 or teaching experience in a Government institution.
