Rajasthan RSSB CET Graduate 2026: Complete Notification
A fresh batch of government seats in Rajasthan has been announced through RSSB CET Graduate 2026. The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) has issued Advertisement No. 09/2026 for the Common Eligibility Test (CET) for Graduate Level posts. This exam serves as the eligibility gateway for 12 different posts across various departments including Patwari, Junior Accountant, UDC, Supervisor, and Gram Vikas Adhikari. The offline OMR-based examination will be conducted from 1 December 2026 to 3 December 2026. Application window opens on 4 July 2026 and closes on 2 August 2026. Important: SC/ST/OBC/MBC candidates from outside Rajasthan are treated as General category and must pay ₹600/-. Candidates who have already paid OTR fee earlier are NOT required to pay again.
Penalty for Absenteeism: As per DoP circular dated 09.05.2025, if a candidate does not appear in two exams conducted by RSSB/RPSC/any Rajasthan agency in a financial year, OTR access will be blocked. First block: ₹750 penalty. Second block: ₹1,500 penalty to reactivate.
Age Limit and Relaxation
General Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 40 years as on 1 January 2027. However, specific posts may have different age limits as per their service rules.

Educational Eligibility Criteria
Minimum Qualification: Graduate or its equivalent from a recognized university.
Important Provisions:
- Final year students may apply but MUST acquire the graduate degree as per departmental rules.
- Specific educational qualifications, age, and experience for each post will be as per the respective service rules.
- These details will be mentioned in the main examination advertisement issued for each post.
Candidates Appearing in Final Year
Students in the final year of graduation are eligible to apply for the CET. However, they must complete their degree before the appointment stage as per the concerned department’s service rules. Failure to produce the degree certificate at the time of document verification will lead to cancellation of candidature.
Selection Process
Stage 1: Common Eligibility Test (CET) – Offline OMR
The CET will be conducted offline using OMR sheets on 1-3 December 2026. It consists of 150 multiple-choice questions carrying 300 marks total. The duration is 3 hours.
Stage 2: Main Examination / Interview
After the CET, candidates who qualify (minimum 40% marks, 35% for SC/ST) will be considered for the main examination or interview conducted by the respective department. The CET score is valid for three years from the result date.
Stage 3: Document Verification
Candidates who are provisionally selected must submit self-attested copies of all required documents with two sets of application forms to the Board office.
Important: CET qualification does not guarantee selection. Candidates must appear in the departmental main examination/interview and meet all eligibility criteria.

Marking Scheme
- All questions carry equal marks (2 marks each)
- Correct Answer: +2 marks
- Incorrect Answer: -2/3 marks (one-third of total marks)
- Unattempted Question: 0 marks (BUT must darken Option E)
Option ‘E’ Rule (CRITICAL)
- Each question has 5 options: A, B, C, D, E
- For unattempted questions, candidates MUST darken Option E
- If none of the 5 options is darkened for any question, 1/3 marks will be deducted for that question
- After solving the paper, 10 extra minutes are given to darken Option E for all unanswered questions
- Candidates who do not darken any circle in more than 10% of questions shall be disqualified
Critical Warning: This is a unique rule in RSSB exams. Leaving any question unattempted without darkening Option E will result in negative marking. Always darken Option E for unattempted questions during the extra 10 minutes provided.
