Eligibility Criteria
Associate Professor
- Doctoral degree in the relevant subject, including relevant basic sciences.
- 8 years’ experience in the relevant subject as Assistant Professor/Scientist/Lecturer in Pay Band-3 with GP/AGP/RGP of ₹5,400/₹6,000/₹7,000/₹8,000, with evidence of contribution to research/teaching/extension.
- OR: Doctoral degree with a minimum of 8 years of high-quality post-doctoral research experience, evidenced by at least 6 publications in journals with NAAS rating of 7.5 or above.
- Basic undergraduate degree in Veterinary Science is part of the essential qualification (as per VCI Regulation 2016).
Assistant Professor
- Master’s degree in the relevant subject with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST) or equivalent grade.
- NET is compulsory along with one publication in a NAAS-rated refereed journal.
- NET can be waived for candidates holding a Ph.D. completed with course work (as per UGC Regulation 2009), provided they have at least two full-length publications with NAAS rating of not less than 4.
- Ph.D. preferred for candidates with Master’s degree.

Interview
Shortlisted candidates are called for an interview. Candidates must obtain at least 50% marks in the interview (32% for SC/ST/Divyang/Female candidates).
