The 572 vacancies are distributed across two separate cadres based on region. Candidates are allowed to apply for only one district within their applicable cadre. Multiple district applications will not be accepted.

Selection Process

Selection is made purely through a competitive written examination. No separate interview round is mentioned in the notification.

Stage 1: Competitive Written Examination (Offline-OMR)

A minimum of 35% marks in the competitive exam is required for eligibility. Candidates scoring below this will be disqualified. The exam consists of two papers:

Negative Marking: 0.25 marks deducted for every wrong answer. Each question offers 4 answer options with only one correct answer.

Stage 2: Kannada Language Test (if applicable)
